SOMETIMES - Poem

Sometimes I long for you to touch me,

but your mind is so far away

I can feel that your heart is closed

as if somewhere a long your path you rejected it's existence

banished it to the farthest ends of the universe

It's location not known to anyone but God


Sometimes I wish I could give you mine

even just for a moment

so you could feel the great depths of love that I have for you

how I am captivated by all of the light and darkness within you

polarities both beautiful and chaotic

enchanting and yet full of tragedy



Sometimes I wish that you would just look back

as you walk away from me

so that you could see in my eyes how much I surrender to you

and every ounce of your soul

that you would one day just take my hand

and beg me to never let it go
