GREAT LOVE OF THE COSMOS - Poem

It was a great love like that of the moon and the earth

Two bodies existing close but not close enough

So deeply and energetically tied

That when he would reach out to her

Her tears would overflow into the great oceans

And send the hearts and minds of mankind into madness

Sentient beings destined to gaze upon each others beauty from a far

but never to touch

A great love only to be witnessed by the stars 

And held within their light until their dying day

A great love story of the cosmos
